Blush Looks Too Bright
Blush looks too bright when too much pigment lands in one spot or the shade is stronger than expected. Sheer it down without wiping off the whole base.

The fix
- press a clean sponge over the brightest area to lift extra pigment
- tap the edges with leftover foundation or tinted moisturizer
- dust a very thin layer of powder over the cheek if the color still feels loud
- use a clean brush to blend only the perimeter, not the center of the blush
If it’s still not right
- Add a little bronzer or foundation around the outside of the blush, not directly through the center.
- Switch to a fluffier brush for powder blush so less pigment lands at once.
Prevent it next time
- Tap off the brush or sheer cream blush on the back of your hand first.
- Apply blush before lipstick if bright lips make the cheek color feel stronger.

Why this works
The fastest fix is controlled removal, not more blending. Rubbing bright blush around can spread the pigment into a larger stain and make the base patchy.
Pressing removes the excess from the top layer. A thin veil of base or powder mutes the color just enough while keeping the cheek shape intact.
